The history of fair-use proposals in Australia is a series of Australian government enquiries into the introduction of a "flexible and open" fair use system into Australian copyright law. Steven Offer (born November 4, 1949) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He was a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1985 to 1995 who represented the riding of Mississauga North. He served as a cabinet minister in the government of David Peterson.
